The Weill Cornell Advanced Center for Interventions and Services Research (ACISR) is the research arm of the Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry. Funded by a grant from the National Institute of Mental Health (P30 MH068368), the ACISR coordinates and supports a portfolio of studies seeking to:
- clarify the mechanisms of late-life mood disorders;
- characterize the course of these disorders;
- identify effective pharmacological and psychosocial treatments; and,
- improve the delivery of care in the community.
